Diversity by Leilah

Hi my name is Leilah and this is my tellagami. I made this tellagami because it tells people how to treat others fairly and learn more about diversity. Diversity is important because it is the subject that I like and teaches people to not discriminate against others and try to be fair to one other. I love talking about diversity. Diversity is about dressing up in your geoursous cultural clothes and being who you are. You could also share about what people don't know about your culture.

Indian people eat chicken curry, Roti and butter chicken. Chinese people eat pork buns and fried rice.Thank you for reading!

Diversity by Ethan

You can see that discrimination is not good and seeing someone crying seems sad😢. How would you like it if someone did it to you ? 😡 So it will be much much better to not discriminate and respect other people.

My poster about Diversity shows how people have different special foods in different cultures. It will also teach you a lesson to not discriminate other people's kinds of food. No one's food is better, just different. Even if you have not tried those kind of foods or what they represent, you should give it a try and they might give you a hand in what you need. You should also not steal - you should ask politely where have you got this special thing from you might find your answer from them. Also don't be rude like discriminate against other people's clothing and skin tone or how they have different kinds of jewellery. You also should never say "Your food is so disgusting!" You should say "Excuse me, what's in your food?" If you have been sensible then they will reply back "Thank you for your compliment, I really appreciate that."

I decided to do a poster because I wanted to tell everyone who discriminated against people that it's not nice or kind to do that. In my poster I have written down some ideas about Diversity because it is our focus for this term. My message is to just accept others for who they are because everyone is unique in there own way. You're not the only one who is special. In my poster I have a box about celebrations, new foods, tolerance, appearance and different flags. Don't discriminate against others' beliefs, culture, their skin tone and what they wear. The best thing you could do is just to be polite. Instead of being mean you should compliment them or don't say anything.

I decided to do my diversity work in a poster because I wanted to try some thing different for a change because I thought it would be interesting, a bit exciting and cool.  I love making decorated things and drawings but sometimes I go a little over board with colours, stickers, details and drawings.
And since the topic was Diversity I thought of things to write about like diversity is about celebrating  together. But even if it's just a family going out for dinner and it's as simple as hanging out.
